About Me
Before I was The Webinar Wizard…
I was just Charlie.
I was studying Economics at University in the UK.
During my short-lived time at Uni (I dropped out after a year), I worked two part-time jobs.
One packing vintage clothes into bags in a warehouse.
One working reception at a private gym.
I used to sit there at work for hours with my earphones in consuming Modern Wisdom podcasts.
Over and over again, a piece of advice that Chris kept giving to those who felt lost was to start a Substack and just write on there as much as they could.
So, I did.
I started a Substack.
This Substack.
I was a lost, 19-year-old kid with no absolutely value to give to the world, writing a Substack every single day, just because some podcaster on the internet told me to.
And I stuck to it.
I wrote a Substack almost every day, at least every week, for months and months, with barely anyone reading them.
In fact, the only people who read them at the time were my girlfriend, my brother and my mum.
Everything I wrote is still on here for you to see - just scroll down.
And it was this writing habit that sparked my interest in the world of copywriting…
And now, just a few years down the line…
I run a consulting firm / DFY agency called Webinar Wizards.
I write over 5,000 words of copy every single week…
And have generated £1,000,000 and counting for clients using the same monitor, keyboard and mouse I used to write my first post on Substack.
Everything I could have dreamed of at the time came true.
And I didn’t want much.
I used to get in my car on a cold Saturday morning, wishing I could leave my job and just write all day, which I now do.
This Substack was the first thing I ever published on the internet.
It was the thing I wrote when I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life.
It was my way of expressing the potential I thought I had inside.
And now, I’m no longer a 19-year-old kid who feels lost in the world.
I have a drive, a purpose, and a craft I have decided to dedicate my life to - which is the art of selling one-to-many.
So, I decided to host this newsletter on Substack because I wanted to create a body of work that would be timeless and that I could look back on in years to come and see my own journey.
Whether that be to do with webinars, copywriting, psychology or just rants.
And if you want to join me on the journey?
Subscribe.
Or don’t.
It means no odds to me.
But I guarantee if you do, you might learn a thing or two.
