It was a busy week with podcast filming and copywriting business but a successful one.
I've been thinking about this a lot recently...
"The world belongs to optimists because to do anything big, you need to believe that it can happen, otherwise it never will." - Alex Hormozi, Modern Wisdom Podcast
Like Alex said, to do anything big, you have to believe that you can do it before it happens or else you are limited by the ceiling you have placed on yourself.
As I have learnt more about mindset over the past year, I realised that the majority of the constraints we have come from the limiting beliefs we put on ourselves.
Most of us don't even realise these limitations are in place.
This is because they form slowly over time from the story that we tell ourselves and from what others tell us.
Not only do these beliefs limit you but if you believe them strongly enough, they become excuses, which can become dangerous.
"I'm just not the kind of person who does x" is an example.
The first step in breaking out of the cycle of doubt is to first identify the limiting beliefs.
Unless you become consciously aware of them, the ceiling won't get any higher and nothing will change.
I have a mentor who I did this with, but you can start by consciously acknowledging these thoughts as they arise.
The problem with optimism is that it can often sound like delusion at first.
You have told yourself the same story over and over again for a long time.
It takes conscious effort to change your pattern of thinking and replace it with one that serves you well.
Once you identify it, it's on you to go out there and build evidence for your claim.
Otherwise, the delusion stays a delusion and doesn't become reality.
'Be, Do, Become'
You need to BE the kind of person who can do the thing, then you DO the things that person would do and then eventually, you BECOME them.
The world is at your feet and you can achieve anything you want in this life.
But first, you NEED to believe you can do it.
Then, you've got to go out there and make it happen.
The people who tell you that you can't do it will be right 99% of the time.
But they will be 100% wrong the day you finally do it.
The world belongs to optimists.
Progress With Us Podcast
As you may have noticed, there is a slight delay on this week's episode.
Some of the footage was corrupted and there were a couple of bits that the guest wanted taken out.
Nevertheless, it should be out either tonight or tomorrow.
If you are missing us, you can go and check out some of the previous episodes we have posted over the last few weeks.

Time Is Your Greatest Ally
Almost all of your goals and aspirations in life can be achieved if you just expand the time horizon. You won't land that dream job or dream client in a day but if you work hard for long enough, it can be yours.
