Three Key Takeaways From Episode 4
Mason & Tom joined us on Episode 4 as we navigated the Only Fans Industry. In this edition of the Progressus Newsletter, we are going to look back at some of the most interesting takeaways from Episode 4.
Number 1 - Complacency Kills
During the podcast, Mason & Tom spoke to us about some of the agency owners in their industry who went from making great money to having to sell their watches.
Seems like a tough fall to have, especially if it was self-inflicted.
Being complacent is a dangerous mindset to adopt, whether this be in relationships, business or sports.
Assuming that you are untouchable and have all the answers might teach you a hard lesson, as it did for the OF managers the boys had referred to.
Number 2 - Scared Money Don’t Make No Money
Forgive me for quoting a Rick Ross lyric in a newsletter.
If you have watched the episode (which you should), you’ll know that Mason & Tom have made a substantial amount of revenue from doing Only Fans Management.
A question I had going into the podcast was 'What are you supposed to do with all of that cash?’
Outside of nice apartments, cars and going out, what would two 21-year-old lads do what that type of money?
The answer is to spend it, but spend it correctly.
Mason & Tom have flown all over the world to masterminds, networking events and invested in expanding teams to ensure the longevity of their business.
Sometimes, you’ve got to spend some money to make money.
Number 3 - Is Only Fans Management Immoral?
Going into the conversation with Mason & Tom, neither myself nor Jacob were too clued up on the industry, which hopefully does not come as a surprise.
On one side you can argue that the models are doing it anyway, and by managing their pages more like a business, they can easily 30x their income by doing so.
However, models have been known to come out and regret their decision and the revenue is generated by predominantly lonely men of all ages who are pouring money down the drain rather than seeking a real, physical relationship.
It’s a tough one and is something I do not have a strong opinion about.
Perhaps one day we can sit down and speak to a female Only Fans Creator and get their perspective on it.
