I have been thinking about how what I want seems to conflict at times with what I think others want.
“It’s one thing to get what you want.... But it’s another thing to want what’s worth getting.” — Shane Parrish
This is the danger of not spending time working out what you want to want.
We can often spend too much time chasing what we think other people might want, or what what you think would be cool to have
But we don’t pause and ask ourselves what we want to want.
To achieve what I believe to be true freedom, we must be able to think for ourselves.
People who don't will never actualise their potential, either for happiness or success.
“They do not what they intended but what they happen to run across” — Seneca
Through deliberate training that at first feels tedious and perhaps very woo woo'ey, we can eventually arrive at a point where we actually want what we want to want.
Because whats the point spending our short time on this planet doing things we don't want to do (within reason, we all have to pay tax for a bit).
Progress With Us Podcast
We are going to be releasing our episode with Crep Cheif Notify this week!

Lessons From This Week
Think Bigger
In the podcast from CCN, the boys told the story of the time their mentor said to them that there was no reason why they shouldn't have 2,000 people on their platform.
At the time, they only had about 200 and it seemed unachievable but he opened their minds to think bigger and they ended up achieving that goal.
Constant Iteration
The best businesses and high performers iterate on their systems and their work very frequently.
If you are doing things at the moment that aren't getting you results, try changing them and iterating on them even quicker.
Win Back Your Focus
Often, it isn't about the amount of time we have but the amount of focus. Quit the reels and win back your focus.
