Every successful person has their own individual views or opinions on what you should do to become successful.
Believe me, I have seen all of the self help content that the social media algorithms could possibly have shown me.
I have listened to all of the people on the internet, as well as my own mentors.
I have watched all of their content and taken on board all of the advice they give.
The only trait that is repeatedly stressed by every successful person is consistency.
Consistency and career goals
Every single world-level athlete got to where they are because they were consistent with their training and their diet. They did not give up on the days they found it tough and they still did it on the days where they didn’t feel like it.
The same goes for academics, writers or entrepreneurs.
They consistently put in the work that moves them closer to their goals.
Day after day after day.
If there is a skill you want to learn, a business you want to start or a qualification you want to get, you will succeed if you find a way to stay consistent.
Consistency and peace
Watch and pay close attention to the most peaceful people among us. They have found a way to develop a routine that works for them. As a result, they mitigate any unnecessary mental stress.
In addition, consistent people are more likely to have financial abundance. This is because financial abundance is incredibly hard to come by without being consistent. This brings stability, peace of mind and security to them as a result of their sustained efforts over a long period of time.
If you seek peace of mind, do away with the unorganised, sporadic routine and instead look to consistency in order to reduce the energy you expend on stress and uncertainty.
Consistency and relationships
Good relationships and the people you surround yourself with have such an effect on our wellbeing. The best relationships will be made up of key components such as honesty, frequent communication and trust. How do you develop these areas?
Consistency.
This could be in the context of romantic relationships, friendships or business partnerships.
If you tell those around you small lies, if you contact them sporadically and you are unpredictable with the energy you bring, the relationship will suffer as a result of your inconsistency.
Consistency is not a trait
It is a way of life.
Become the steady head on cool shoulders that the people around you can always rely on.
Become consistent with your values and do not go against them.
Become the constant and realise a far more peaceful and fulfilled existence.
