Hey friend,
You know that scene in the casino when Alan is locked tf in and wins a big bag?
This is the feeling our clients and we are experiencing right now sitting at our desks while we are running webinar campaigns
Moat businesses are placing too much of their emphasis on call funnels and a lot of them are struggling to hit anything beyond 2-3x ROAS, never mind even on cash.
If this is you, then I want to tell you that it's not the end of the world.
It's OKAY!
What's NOT okay is thinking that relying on this one mechanism alone will somehow magically get you to 10x returns.
Over the past month, I've been studying and tracking the webinar data from existing clients we have in different niches selling different offers.
And I noticed a pattern that explains why call funnels consistently underperform...
When I say call funnels are inconsistent, I'm not talking about their ability to generate bookings.
Anybody can send cold emails and run ads to book calls onto the calendar.
I'm talking about the wildly unpredictable QUALITY of those bookings.
Some prospects jump on a call practically begging to give you money.
They're pre-sold, educated, and ready to commit.
Others seem like they accidentally clicked your booking link while sleepwalking.
They have absolutely zero urgency, almost no understanding of your offer, and didn't need your solution in the first place.
You're leaving the call asking yourself why you even bothered to take the call in the first place.
Nobody should be living in this unpredictable state when running a company, and when you ask people why this is happening they will tell you to blame your setters, blame your calendly qualifying questions or some other small tweaks.
Your VSL, your landing page, your ads - the direct response approach of them is painfully dwindling and so us your ad spend.
It's like trying to propose marriage on a first date.
Sometimes it works (rarely), but usually, it fails spectacularly.
To solve this problem, I've been implementing webinars as Conversion Events for my clients and it's been dramatically shrinking the sales cycle.
With traditional call funnels, if a prospect doesn't close on the first call, the likelihood of them EVER coming back to buy is slim to none.
That lead is essentially dead.
But with webinars?
People are presented with your offer in a less stressful environment.
They don't feel the pressure of a 1-on-1 call where saying "no" can be uncomfortable.
And here's the really interesting part...
A significant percentage of webinar attendees who don't buy immediately end up purchasing 1-3 weeks after the event.
Why?
Because sometimes people genuinely need time to think over the idea before investing with you.
With a call funnel, these "I need to think about it" prospects disappear forever.
With a webinar, they're still in your ecosystem, receiving your follow-up, and making buying decisions on their own timeline.
The people who would have taken a sales call said "Let me think about it," and never returned are now being put through a more efficient conversion mechanism.
Even if they don't pay on the spot, they're paying 1-3 weeks post-webinar.
This is MASSIVELY cutting down sales cycles for our clients.
Instead of chasing ghosts who never return your calls, you're nurturing warm prospects who convert on their own timeline.
If you're stuck on the call funnel hamster wheel, watching your ROI hover at 2-3x while your competition is crushing it, webinars might be the missing piece.
Get in touch with me on WhatsApp if you want us to implement this funnel completely done-for-you.
To your success,
Charlie
P.S. What's your current call booking to show-up rate? Reply and let me know - I might have some insights on how to improve it.
