what happens when you sit on the fence?

I get 1 or two people unsubscribing from my newsletter every single time I send one...

... especially when I send slightly provocative ones with direct subject lines like I did yesterday!

Most people would say that this is a bad thing, but I disagree.

In fact, when I see that somebody's unsubscribed, it actually brings me great pleasure.

Why?

Because it means I'm doing something right!!!

You see, a lot of people often talk about their marketing, and they talk about who they want to attract in their marketing...

... but you forget that in order to attract something, you must repel something else!

It's the law of polarity. For each force, there is an equal and opposite force.

The #1 example of this in our industry is someone like Jeremy Haynes.

Big Jezza! Scary motherfucker in real life, I'll tell you that 👹

Intense guy, but his rise to 'niche micro info fame' has been unprecedented.

He's got everyone running around quoting him in all their fucking videos and all their YouTube videos using him and leveraging him because he's an authority.

Okay, but why is Jeremy an authority?

He talks about marketing just like the rest of us? Why is he special?

He put all his time and attention into building a brand that directly repelled poor people!

Simple.

He said that you have to be making at least 100K a month to work with him.

HE REPELS BEGINNERS IN ORDER TO ATTRACT HIGH LEVEL PEOPLE.

In the same way, people REPEL high-level people by catering their content and messaging to BEGINNERS.

You probably understand this already, if you don't, you need to get up to scratch...

... but you might still be thinking, "Charlie, I don't see how this relates back to you being happy with unsubscribers?"

Don't worry, I got you.

You see, a lot of the services, in fact, all of the services we offer here at Webinar Wizards require ONE TO ONE interaction with me and my team.

You partner with us, there's a lot of comms.

You run a hybrid campaign with us, there's a lot of comms.

You want to join Advisory, there's a lot of comms.

And if you get upset over me saying "Your Emails Are Boring Mate" in my subject line...

... we probably aren't going to have a great working relationship together.

I'm not saying we're a massive bunch of degenerates, but if something like that upsets you...

... when we're consulting with you, and I have to tell you the God's honest truth about something that you've done that's absolutely bad, standard, and that's why you're out of KPI, how are you going to respond?

You're going to throw your toys out of the pram. You're going to blame me. You're going to say that we didn't consult with you properly and that you're right!

And that can be true if you want it to, but one of the huge parts of Advisory that we have in the opening video is that we are going to tell you the God's honest truth at all times.

If something isn't up to standard, and by up to standard I mean I look at everything through the lens of...

"If our team shipped this, what would I say?"

Another great example of this is a client that we have at the moment who's in the property industry, and their offer is closer to a network than it is like a typical info offer.

The quality of a network is dictated by the quality of its members.

So, how do we ensure that we attract quality members through cold traffic? We just tell the boys to be themselves on the webinar and in the ads, and naturally, what happens is people like them are attracted!

The worst thing you can do in your messaging and in your business is sit on the fence.

The only thing that happens when you sit on the fence is you get splinters!
