how to make your market dance to your tune

WARNING: Please only use this for good. If you have a good product, get good results and have great fulfilment - this is for you.

One of the most underrated persuasion tactics that absolutely CRUSHES is from the book by Blair Warren called "One-Lined Persuasion" is delivered in the form of 27 words...

... but could go on to make you millions (if you know how to use it correctly).

You might have even heard it before:

"People will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions, and help them throw rocks at their enemies."

I see too many amateurs sell their services, or their clients' services, in a far too aggressive way.

They blame their market for everything.

They try to get them to change who they are and tell them they are NGMI unless they do exactly what you are telling them to do.

Run ads, get into sales, leave your job, scale to $1m/pm - whatever the larp at the time is.

This is a fool's game. An unprofitable fool's game.

Instead, when I'm constructing webinars, I am doing all of the things in that quote.

  • Encouraging their dreams
  • Justifying their failures
  • Allaying their fears
  • Confirming their suspicions
  • Helping them throw rocks at their enemies

Trust me, watch this.

Let's take one of our property clients.

  • Encouraging their dreams - "I want to buy 100 houses before I'm 30. That's not a bad thing. Doing deals and building a big portfolio is going to be how you pass down generational wealth to your family."
  • Justifying their failures & Helping them throw rocks at their enemies - "If you haven't wasted time doing the wrong strategy for a year now, it's not your fault, we've all fallen for the trap of seeing {competitors larping lol}
  • Allaying their fears - "Of course raising money from investors is scary, but that doesn't mean that it can't be done. It just means you are just going to have to do it even though you are scared."
  • Confirming their suspicions - "Half the people you see on Instagram {larping} are making the majority of their money selling courses from a strategy that worked for them back in 2019."

And do you want to know what's funny about this?

When I do this, I do it subconsciously.

When I write, I don't sit down to put these tools in here on purpose.

They become automatic, and the reason they become automatic is that I've practised them over the years.

I've collected tools like this and embedded them so deep in my nervous system that I can literally just look at your business and what you sell, and automatically apply these persuasion tactics to help you sell more stuff through webinars and through one-to-many sales.

This is just one of dozens of mistakes that I see inexperienced amateurs making when it comes to selling one-to-many.

If you listen to these amateurs too much over time, you'll start making these mistakes too.

These nuances can be the difference between a webinar that completely crushes and one that doesn't, and also one where your market actually likes you and who you are.

No one's going to buy from someone who just lectures them all day, but if someone can do all of these things at once, then it would be unreasonable for them not to go with you to solve their problem.

If you want to know the truth and you want to know how you should really be selling one-to-many (and how you can add a webinar funnel to your funnel stack this Q4 to see out the year strong and go into 2027 on a high flyer), then I suggest that you join us tomorrow at...
